Priscilla is a dedicated practitioner of Developmental and Behavioural Optometry, focusing on performing visual function evaluation and visual perceptual assessment. Additionally, she provides and designs vision therapy for individuals with conditions such as strabismus, amblyopia, vision-related learning difficulties, with a main focus on children, aiming to explore each child’s unique potential.

Priscilla graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Bachelor (Hons) of Science in Optometry. She subsequently pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Melbourne, where she honed her expertise and skills in the field. This specialised training emphasised child development and vision, as well as the unique needs of special education populations, such as those with Specific Learning Difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder etc. Her postgraduate research centred on developing interventions to boost the reading performance of children with such difficulties, which have primarily involved vision therapy and the typographic manipulation of reading materials. Following the postgraduate study, Priscilla continues to explore paediatric vision care in the scope of Developmental and Behavioural Optometry through training at the Optometric Extension Program Foundation (Maryland, U.S.), specialising in visual dysfunctions, vision related learning difficulties, strabismus and amblyopia, and vision therapy.

She is diversely trained in evidence-based interventions and employs a holistic management approach. Priscilla has an avid interest in child development, encompassing vision and mental well-being. Priscilla holds a Master of Social Sciences (Counselling) from the University of Hong Kong, which enables her to employ a person-centred approach in her practice. Valuing each child's unique strengths and challenges, she strives to optimise visual function, enhance self-esteem, alleviate vision-related learning difficulties, and empower personal growth and learning. Additionally, she adopts a multidisciplinary approach and collaborates with psychologists, school teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists and other professionals to provide integrated and holistic support for individuals.

Apart from clinical work, she works as a clinical associate and supervisor for the paediatric clinic in the School of Optometry at the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong.
